Our Beliefs

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, who created all things, and who exists eternally in three persons: father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Saviour

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We believe that Jesus was true God and true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived his life without sin and his teaching has absolute authority. He was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. We believe Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the father except through him.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God and is the third person of the Trinity. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in this age and in the ages to come. His work includes convicting the world of sin, giving new life to those who turn in repentance to Jesus for their salvation; indwelling, guiding, teaching and empowering the believer for living a life full of hope and dedicated to the glory of God.

The Bible

We believe that the bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and life. We believe the Bible is the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men and the final authority for all Christian faith and life

We believe that man was created in the image of God but through his sin became lost and subject to pain and death. We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus on the cross. We believe that only through the Grace of God and Faith in Jesus sacrifice as our substitute can Man’s relationship with God be fully restored and regeneration to eternal life by the power of the Holy Spirit is obtained. It is only through the shed blood of Jesus that we are saved, healed, restored and set free.

Return of the King

We believe that The Lord Jesus Christ will personally, visibly and physically return to Earth in glory.

Our Future State

We believe in the resurrection of the dead. We believe in eternal life; a life of everlasting blessedness and joy, in heaven and with God for the believer; and in hell and separated from the love and goodness of God for the unbeliever.

Our Commitment to God

We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in pursuing holiness, purity of heart and life in all its fullness. We believe we are commissioned to preach the gospel and minister God’s love to those who are in need.

The Church

We believe that the Church is made up of all who have exercised a saving faith in Jesus Christ and were therefore born again and united spiritually into a single body.
