People Matter
Everyone is valuable to God, and no individual is more important than another. Our value is not based on what we do in church. We will seek to understand each person as an individual who God loves and who is part of our family
Relationships Matter
We will value relationships above structure, so we will focus more of our time and effort on building deep relationships than on formal structures.
Character Matters
We believe that godly character and integrity are more valuable than individual giftings and talents. Everyone has a mutual responsibility to all other parts of the body to seek to model the character and love of Jesus in their lives and attitudes. We will always seek to act with honesty and integrity.
Attitude Matters
A servant attitude should be the goal of all who seek to minister to or lead others. The motivation for all our ministry should be to display the love of God by serving those who we minister to. We will always try to take responsibility for dealing with whatever needs doing and to place others before ourselves. We will respect the individual boundaries of others and endeavour not place undue burdens on anyone person. We believe that everyone should be responsible for their own actions and that no one should accept responsibility if they do not wish to be accountable for it.
Stewardship Matters
We have a responsibility to God and others to be faithful and wise stewards of all that God gives to us – whether talents, finances, relationships or time - and we will always seek to be generous in using these gifts.
Individual Growth Matters
We will seek to empower individuals to realise and fully walk in their giftings and callings. As individuals we will commit to encourage one another at every opportunity and facilitate each others growth.
Reconciliation and Forgiveness Matter
We believe reconciliation between us is God’s heart for his Children and is more important than always seeking to win the argument. We will always seek to forgive and seek forgiveness from others as a first priority.
